Grass sod is a decadent way to achieve a perfect lawn. Though more expensive than seeding, grass sod offers near perfect visual results in just a day or two, and a rompable yard in only a few weeks.

Sod is usually used in situations such as weddings or big events where a nice yard is needed immediately. Sod is also very useful in repairing fine lawns and golf courses. And, some people just don’t want to deal with a bare yard full of fertilizer and birds pecking at grass seed, cats chasing the birds and enjoying the gigantic litter box.
Many chose to lay sod themselves, and some decide to hire a sod contractor to take care of the work.
